(Kingston CP) July 19, 1999 - For the first time in 10 years, the former members of one of the world's most influential bands have spoken to each other. Apparently drawn together by the impending release of their Greatest Hits CD, the former members of Krabba Kott spoke yesterday for approximately one hour and revisited the glory days that led to such important albums as "Slab" and "Shevchenko's Perogies". Although their chart success was confined to college radio, the band's quirky style inspired later acts such as the Barenaked Ladies and Miscellaneous 'S'.
It is expected that Jiri Webyehko (Mark Prytulka) and Pepi Webyehko (P. Vanderhout) will re-unite in person for some promotional work in the very near future. While a musical reunion has not been discussed, spokespeople were not willing to rule out the possibility.
